Returns and Refunds Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

At BODOSOM, each piece of jewellery is individually handmade and finished in London. We hope you are happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may cancel and return your order in accordance with the terms below.

Cancellations and Returns

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

To cancel your order, contact us at info@bodosom.com within 14 days of receiving it and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel.

You may use the cancellation form at the bottom of this policy, but you are not required to do so.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must send the jewellery back within 14 days.

These periods reflect the cancellation and return periods applicable to distance sales under UK consumer law. Legislation.gov.uk

Return Postage

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured postal service and retaining proof of postage, particularly because of the value of BODOSOM jewellery.

Please contact info@bodosom.com before sending your return.

Returns should be sent to:

BODOSOM
208 Southwyck House
Clarewood Walk
London
SW9 8TN
United Kingdom

Condition of Returns

You may inspect and try on the jewellery as you reasonably would in a shop.

Please handle the piece carefully and return it with its original packaging where possible.

If the jewellery has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, and this has reduced its value, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.

UK distance-selling rules permit consumers to inspect goods, while allowing a trader to account for diminished value caused by excessive handling. Legislation.gov.uk

Refunds

If you validly cancel your order, we will refund the price paid for the jewellery.

We will also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express or premium delivery, the additional amount above the standard delivery cost will not be refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned jewellery or you provide evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory period, normally using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

We do not charge a fee for processing a statutory refund. Legislation.gov.uk

Handmade Jewellery and Patina Variations

BODOSOM jewellery is handmade and individually finished.

Where stated on the product page, the necklace shown in the photographs is a sample rather than the exact finished necklace you will receive.

Each piece is individually handmade and finished using our patina process, so the piece you receive will be slightly different in colour, tone and finish.

These variations are a natural characteristic of the handmade process and make each piece individual.

Variations that are consistent with the description provided before purchase are not, by themselves, faults.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Described Items

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

If your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged, or is not as described, please contact us at info@bodosom.com with your order number and details of the problem.

Where applicable, BODOSOM will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

International Customers

If you are purchasing from outside the United Kingdom, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable in your country.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
