The BODOSOM photoshoot took place in Brixton, South London, in collaboration with Italian photographer Giulia Hepburn.
Set within a familiar, lived-in environment, the shoot focused on proximity, texture, and presence. Jewellery was photographed on the body and in isolation, allowing material, weight, and detail to speak without interruption. The pace was slow and intentional, mirroring the way BODOSOM collections are conceived and released.
Giulia’s approach to photography aligns naturally with the brand’s language. Her work is attentive rather than directive, allowing moments to unfold rather than be staged. This sensitivity was essential in capturing the tension between restraint and intimacy that defines BODOSOM — both in the worn pieces and in the product images created for the website.
Alongside the editorial images, Giulia also photographed the jewellery objects individually for the web, translating the same quiet intensity into a more precise, functional context. The result is a visual continuity between body and object, presence and documentation.
We’re grateful to have collaborated with such a talented and perceptive photographer, and to have this body of work become part of BODOSOM’s visual identity.
